Morgan Construction Wales (MCW) is proud to have delivered meaningful community benefit projects alongside our Saundersfoot development, with Saundersfoot CP School chosen as a key beneficiary and partner in our engagement programme.
Earlier this summer, MCW welcomed Year 6 pupils for an educational site visit designed to introduce young people to the world of construction. Guided by Neil Cunningham, Leia Bovett, and Samantha Milne, the pupils learned about the sequence of building works, sustainable practices, teamwork, site safety and the wide range of careers available in the industry. The day was a huge success, with pupils asking questions, engaging with the team and gaining valuable insights into how construction shapes communities. Building on this success, MCW looks forward to hosting further visits after the new academic year begins in September.
In addition to educational experiences, MCW has also delivered a lasting improvement to the school grounds by transforming part of the Early Years play area. An unused concrete space, once home to a wooden play structure that had been removed for safety reasons, was redeveloped with a new soft astroturf surface installed by Simply Landscaping. To complement the works, MCW donated STEM construction blocks to the nursery class, which the children eagerly explored on delivery day. This project has not only created a safe and engaging play space but also provided resources to inspire curiosity, creativity and early learning. Through initiatives like these, MCW is strengthening links with the school and wider community, ensuring the Saundersfoot development leaves a positive legacy for years to come.
